About Me

I acquired my education through self-study, primarily by copying paintings of masters, practicing and developing a personal style and language. My paintings are created mainly through direct observation. I mostly paint in the open landscapes (plein air) - landscapes from the country and my residential surroundings. I focus on natural processes, cycles of growth and withering. Processes of wrinkling that form in the earth, in vegetation, and in the human body. I work with pencil and charcoal drawing techniques, pastel painting, and oil painting.

I have exhibited in solo and group exhibitions.
